JOB TITLE: Commodities Derivatives Analyst
JOB LOCATION: London

Our international team is spread across London, Berlin, Frankfurt, and New York.

You will be the main contact for the team on the Bank's new initiative in calculating and managing risks associated with the commodity derivatives portfolio. The role requires a strong degree of project management and quantitative skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support business requirements and methodology analysis and provide specification to IT departments on any changes required.
Analyse keydata input and design the logic to deliver business requirements
Communicate at all levels with project stakeholders to enable understanding of methodology and technical issues related to the project.
Develop prototypes to be used as a benchmark for all test calculations.
Develop and maintain suitable levels of documentation covering key stages of project implementation
Provide requirements for user acceptance tests and ensure the accuracy of calculations made within the internal risk systems involved.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong project management experience
Knowledge of commodity derivatives and the risks associated with them. Strong quantitative and programming skills (e.g. vba, c++).
A high level of innovation and initiative, and the ability to gain expertise in new processes and systems within a short period.
Experience with the OpenLink system will be a plus but not a pre-requisite.
Experience as a Commodities Derivatives Analyst.

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Numerate degree or equivalent in Maths / Economics / Physics or related subject
