Commodities Financial Controller. Based in London recruitment
World renowned commodities trading House is expanding thier business, rewarding the chosen candidate with a highly varied and challenging opportunity. Some of the responsibilities will include:
- monthly and year end reporting
- Implementation of new IFRS accounting standards
- Hedge accounting control and reporting (cash flow and fair value)
- management and review of net investment hedges for foreign-bases subsidiaries
- both internal and external reporting
- Management of the audit process and ongoing cash flow monitoring.
- Liaising with all areas of the bank, including front, middle and back office.
Skills/Experience:
- IFRS/IAS and GAAP experience
- Preferably qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
- Past experience in banking is preferred.
- Good systems skills (MS Excel, PowerPoint etc)
- Strong Commodities Market Knowledge
