Commodities MO (Associate & AVP) recruitment
- Strong knowledge in Commodities (Base Metals, Precious Metals, Iron Ore, Coal)
- Good knowledge in Letter of Credit and Physical/MO Operations
- Relevant experience in handling Commodities operations is essential
A highly successful and well-known Investment Bank is growing their Commodities business rapidly and therefore looking to hire professionals with the relevant experience in banking operations within Commodities - across various MO Physical Operations.
There are 2 exciting roles that look at ensuring the complete timely fulfilment of all contractual requirements in the COAL and IRON ORE business including all aspects of shipping, storage and transit. You will also be involved in ensuring the integrity and control of PnL and Risk and also Flash PL. There are also opportunities for involvement in ensuring logistics and risk management platform integrity and vessel nominations.
In addition to the above roles, the Bank is looking at other hiring needs for candidates with relevant commodities operations background (that can be discussed further if your profile suits their requirements)
To qualify, individuals must possess:
- A Bachelor Degree
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience
- Commodities Middle Office or Physical Operations knowledge is REQUIRED
- Products include Base Metals, Precious Metals, Iron Ore, Coal
- Excellent client relationship skills
- Demonstrate problem solving skills
- High level of attention to details
- Strong analytical skills
