Commodities P&L/Risk Controller (on desk) – AVP
The remit of the role is broad in that you will have PL, Risk and Pricing responsibilities. Furthermore you are to sit on a demanding and successful trading desk. The individual can see this as a way to move out of a more back office, production type role in to a fast paced, challenging trading desk position.
We are looking for an individual that has a Product Control background , specifically in Commodities. It is preferred that you are a qualified accountant, but it isn’t a necessity. The ideal profile would be for a senior associate level candidate to step up. It is imperative that the individual has the correct personality and character to work in a pressurised Front Office facing environment. Above all the hiring manager would like somebody that has a good sense of humour, is relaxed and enjoys building relationships as the culture of the team is excellent, as is its relationship with the business both on a professional and social level.
