Commodities Product Control / MO Project Manager, VP, IB recruitment
The position is available due to the current individual moving to the Front Office (Business Manager), a move that is not uncommon from the Commodities MO business area. Reporting in a senior Director, your key stakeholders will be Directors and MD’s across Finance, Product Control, COO / Business Management and Trading. Due to the remit of the role you will be looking across Product Control, Price Testing, Valuations and Operations (mainly in NY, but also in Houston and London). It is a position in which in addition to working in an advisory / consultancy capacity, you will be key in creating, driving and processing change / improvements the business area from a Controls and Middle Office perspective.
The individual should see this as a great opportunity to gain high level exposure, make an impact on a growing business area and be open to a number of exciting progression opportunities. That there is a very flat structure means that the individual can be fast tracked in to a D level role if a top performer.
We are not necessarily looking for a Commodities specialist. Instead the hiring manager is keen to see candidates with strong Project Management skills, good trading systems experience and that you are from a solid Middle Office / Finance background to allow you to be comfortable facing off to both business and Finance / MO heads.
