Commodities Relationship Manager – Director recruitment
You will take a key role in relationship management with existing and potential Energy Members and will contribute to the management and coordination of interaction with the market participants of presentation/marketing materials as well as the responsibility for developing productive relationships with users of the Energy clearing service access, product scope and process integration.
You will be one of the public voices for the company at industry seminars, conferences and multilateral meetings. You will coordinate the energy services development priorities within the company ensuring that Europe’s needs are appropriately prioritised within the overall service development schedule.
You will ensure that the Energy service is developed in a consistent manner with other OTC clearing offerings and working with colleagues and professional advisers to ensure constructive dialogue, timely approval and coordination of changes to the service with all relevant regulators including FSA, Bank of England, CFTC and SEC.
It is essential for you to be educated at least degree level of equivalent and would be advantageous to have any other additional qualifications or project management qualifications.
The successful candidate will have at least 3-5 years relevant energy or commodities (or related products) experience is essential; and will ensure you remain current with all developments affecting the energy service (European, US and International) including regulatory reform and will be a key opinion former with regard to positioning the energy service within the market within the broader context of the company’s clearing offerings.
You will be expected to work closely with senior colleagues on resolving operational issues or service disruption with the objective of protecting the energy service franchise as well as also work closely with senior colleagues on energy development activities and will contribute to the production of work products.
You will have strong analytical and project management skills required to develop and improve clearing house processes, with a high level knowledge of energy markets or cleaning and settlements services. The candidate must be multi-disciplined in their approach to managing business priorities. You must be articulate with good interpersonal skills as they will be communicating processes (including written documents) and procedures to all levels through out the business and be responsible for the upward reporting to senior management.
