Overview:

Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) comprises three businesses: Corporate Finance, Markets and Global Transaction Banking (GTB) and includes regional coverage in the Bank's key growth areas.

Commodities Sales is responsible for coverage and origination group for energy and agricultural products (oil, oil products, power, coal, grains, sugar) and precious/base metals. They help Deutsche Bank clients financially or physically hedge their commodity exposures through various derivatives based strategies or physical agreements. Products range from simple flow trades, such as spot gold trade or winter natural gas swap, to more complex options strategies, such as vanilla options, knock-ins, and funding cheapener strategies. In addition to hedging techniques the desk looks for opportunities to help clients with their strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:
*Covering trading companies (combination of looking at their liquidity, CSAs, execution, overall portfolios, e-commerce solutions and trade ideas).
*Coverage of banking clients who have not been hitherto covered
*Overseeing the index client business (valuation checking, fees, decomposition)
*Helping to map out the corporate pensions space (including consultants) to better target commodities allocations

You will have:
*A strong academic background in relevant undergraduate degree from a top tier University (or relevant international equivalent)
*Derivatives knowledge
*A keen interest in Commodities
*Superior communication skills (written and verbal) with strict attention to detail

You will be:
*Highly motivated with a strong willingness to learn and take on new challenges
*Comfortable in a technical environment
*Diligent, efficient and able to manage multiple conflicting deliverables including working under pressure
*Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
