Commodities Trading Strategist – Asia recruitment
The role requires someone from Director/MD level to work in a trading focused role within their commodities team.
Within the role you will be responsible for:-
- Producing short term trading ideas on the energy/Metals
- Working with mainly institutional clients and only a little corporate.
- Using the fundamental analysis from the team to develop short term strategies/ideas.
In order to apply for this role you must have direct experience working as an Oil/Gas strategist. Applicants with some experience publishing will be considered for the role however you must have successfully developed fundamentally based analysis and trading strategies and have worked in senior/Management position. The ideal candidate will have experience working directly with the traders in a leading fund/Trading house or Investment Bank and want to be a key member in the development of a crude oil trading business, including physical and derivative trading.
The global commodities team in this bank is exceptionally strong in the area of quant analytics, trading and research therefore please be prepared for a detailed interview process as global commodities is a focus for this bank.
