Commodity Analyst – Metals / Petroleum Products recruitment
The firm employs a dynamic and truly international staff of 70 dedicated hedge fund professionals based in Zurich, New York, Stockholm, Geneva, Hong Kong and on Cayman Islands
Duties:
- Research analysis on commodity products for long-only funds (Belvista Family)
- Serving the Portfolio Managers with investment proposals (mainly on Metal and Petroleum Products)
- Working closely with Analysts and Portfolio Managers on several topics
- Develop and maintain quantitative tools
Requirements:
- First class university degree with specialization in finance, economics or similar
- At least three years commodity research experience acquired through a research position within in an investment bank or within a dedicated commodity firm
- Expertise accumulated in one or several of industrial metals, precious metals or petroleum products
- Familiar with research and software tools
- Team player with strong analytical and quantitative skills
- High degree of flexibility, pro-active as well as hands-on approach, detail oriented, ability to work well under pressure
- Fluent in written and spoken English, German language skills are advantageaous, however not compelling
