Reporting to the Regional Head CFRM, Asia Pacific, CFRM is responsible for leading and driving the credit risk management of Commodity and Structured Trade Finance (CSTF) locally, establishing best practice policies, processes and systems to address the post-sanction monitoring and control of the CSTF portfolio credit risk.
This role is a key local function within the business where effective and rigorous risk monitoring and control is pivotal to success. It reinforces the sales drive by ensuring relevant limits are available and underpins the credit risk aspects of CSTF through robust systems and processes.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Driving management of key credit risks and related reporting across the portfolio;
- Developing strong relationships with key stakeholders;
- Further development of a robust credit management infrastructure and reporting;
- Ensuring effective risk control and support;
- Driving timely and efficient risk assessments;
- Delivery of accurate and relevant risk MI to stakeholders;
- Driving the identification and development of best practice systems;
- Strengthening success rates by contributing to key risk decisions.
Skills
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- A minimum 5 years' relevant experience in CSTF risk management;
- In-depth knowledge of CSTF risk, mitigants, products and customers;
- In-depth knowledge of best practice CSTF credit systems and processes;
- Strong understanding of the marketplace and issues likely to impact on effective risk management.
