General Job Objective

Cleveland Range, a member of the Manitowoc Foodservice family of companies, global leaders in commercial foodservice equipment, is seeking a dynamic Commodity Manager. Responsible for supplier management, development, qualification and cost control of key strategic commodities utilized by the Ovens Group operating locations. Will lead cost reduction initiatives, supplier related warranty cost improvements, NPI initiatives and risk management for the group. Will be responsible for helping to set specific group and location goals and to track and report progress on a monthly basis. Reporting directly to the Director of Supply Chain, this position is based in Cleveland, Ohio.

Essential Job Functions

- Develop on-going incremental PCTO initiatives to drive year over year material cost improvements.

- Lead the NPI initiatives for all Ovens Group projects, including supplier selection and development, critical component approval process and Gate Review representation.

- Work with Quality and Engineering to develop and execute plans to reduce warranty expenses across the group.

- Lead the Supplier Risk Management process for the Ovens Group, including coordinating supplier assessments and the development and execution of risk mitigation plans.

Job Requirements/Working Conditions

- Bachelor's Degree required

- 5+ Years experience in Procurement/Supplier and Commodity Management Highly Desired

- Six Sigma, Lean and ISM Certification Highly Desired

- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point), Microsoft Project and QAD (or similar ERP systems such as Oracle)

- This position requires someone who is a creative thinker, motivated and passionate about the work content, with very strong communication skills, both orally and in written format.
