Commodity Settlements, London
A Commodity Settlements role has been released by a top Investment Bank. This role will be part of a team providing the operational support to the physical trading and origination teams based in various regions including Dubai, Singapore, Hong Kong andNew York and will cover all physical metals transactions booked on the London balance sheet.
Key Responsibilities

Manage all client request for fund remittances or inter account transfers

Perform reconciliation of the Banks physical stock balances from vault holder statements to Banks records and produce monthly reconciliation report for Operations Control and Management Reporting

Assist with the daily management of customer collateral positions and margin exposures producing daily call reports and managing cash, metal and documentary collateral (Bank Guarantees and Stand-by Letters of Credit)

General administrative duties in terms of filing and collation and safe keeping of records related to the physical business
Key Requirements

Experience of metals business essential

Understanding of risks involved in the business and the controls and procedures required to manage the physical operation

Organisation skills to be able to plan supply to meet demand and co-ordinate logistics

Ability to manage time and resources to adapt to the changing requirements of the function

Good communication skill required to communicate with external clients and internal areas within the bank

Good standard of IT skills, particularly in MS office required
