Commodity Trade finance recruitment

Responsibilities:
- Act as a main contact for commodity traders regarding the utilisation of facilities and to ensure a high level of service is delivered at all times
- Manage a significant portfolio of facilities protecting the bank’s exposure to risk through the constant monitoring of credit facilities and valuation of collateral
- Show credit risks in a timely manner by reacting to facility excesses and collateral shortfalls
- Be jointly responsible for good relationships with the bank’s customers and intermediaries/counter-parties by maintaining and building client relationships and ensuring good utilisation of the facility
- Have an in-depth understanding of commodities facilities on both an operational and commercial basis (this should include facility types, limit structures, nature of security required, tenor provisions etc.)
- Strong experience in a commodity based environment, with an excellent understanding and working knowledge of the principles of commodities/trade finance collateral
- Solid basics of financing, the instruments used (stand-by L/C’s, documentary credits, documentary collections, guarantees), their risks and pitfalls
- Strong team management experience
