Position Description:
Communications Associates are integral members of the Marketing Communications department of PIMCO. Working together with account management, product management and occasionally, portfolio management, the Communications Associate develops client servicing, marketing, and educational collateral for U.S. and non-U.S., institutional and retail audiences. Associates contribute to the design, content, messaging and data to develop presentations which consistently reflect PIMCO's brand and thought leadership. The Communications Associate will be expected to extract data from a variety of internal and external databases and to leverage strong PowerPoint and Excel skills to create materials according to our brand guidelines.

There is currently an opportunity for a Portuguese speaking Communications Associate, who will, among other things, help support the Latin America team and a new PIMCO office in Brazil.

• Compliance Associates
• Communications Associates located in several global offices

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Create customized client-servicing, marketing and educational presentations
• Work with Product Management to create and maintain PIMCO strategy storyboards
• Extract data from various internal and external applications and use Excel to organize and manipulate data
• Leverage PowerPoint skills to create and update presentations

Position Requirements:
• Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint is required
• Fluent Portuguese language skills strongly preferred
• Strong analytical skills and graphic design fundamentals
• Strong understanding of financial markets with 2-3 years of related work experience
• Excellent time-management, multi-tasking, organization and communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines is critical
• Must have a good work ethic and follow-up skills
• Team player who is comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Clear understanding and commitment to PIMCO's culture, values and approach

Education
• Undergraduate degree, preferably in finance or marketing/communications.
