Location: Brussels
Salary 50,000 – 60,000
Our client is a leading communications consultancy with opportunities in their Brussels office. With an established client base including a number of large corporates across a variety of sectors such as financial services, technology, renewable energy and professional services, they have a strong requirement to recruit an Account Manager and Account Director to provide clients with regulatory counsel consultancy services.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop a strong understanding of clients’ core sectors in order to provide strategic counsel on PR strategies, messaging and tactics
- Contribute to and cultivate new business development opportunities
- Assist in targeted marketing of the company to corporate audiences
- Active involvement in a number of EU public affairs accounts and projects
Key requirements include:
- Prior experience in EU public affairs, ideally gained in a consultancy, association or in-house Setting
- An expert understanding of the EU policy process and broader political environment
- Very good sectorial experience, particularly financial services, transport, retail and energy
- Strong commercial acumen and a comprehensive network of business contacts
- Excellent written and spoken English, other EU languages advantageous
