My client has a requirement for a Comms Design Engineer to get involved in a number of Rail project. To discuss this role and projects further feel free to call me.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the delivery of communications design related to both wayside and onboard rail systems.
- Communications include some of the following: PDH SDH transmission systems; microwave transmission systems; mobile radio systems; wayside telemetry systems; vital radio links for signalling systems; radio comms links and short haul fibre links for wayside comms systems.
Qualifications Experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Electrical / Electronic Engineer or relevant discipline.
- At least 3 years Rail experience is essential.
- Expertise in Communications Systems, Signalling and Control Systems and Automatic Train Control systems is preferable.
- Excellent communications skills and experience working in a consultancy is a major advantage.
