Communications Director recruitment

The Group is continuing to expand its product line creating new servicing opportunities and needs to ensure its communications strategy is fully supporting the Group’s business development objectives. The Group is headquartered in London with operations in the UK, Spain, Italy, Germany and Ireland our clients are some of the largest names in retail banking and consumer finance across Europe.
Link Financial is delighted to announce this newly created role of Communications Director based in our London office. The role will be responsible for managing the entire communications strategy whilst ensuring that all PR and Marketing as well as all internal communication materials are relayed in the committed style of the Brand and acting as Brand Guardian. You will have oversight for our customer and client web sites and will strive to ensure complete cohesion of our internal and external communications.
The role has a direct reporting line to the executive Directors and as such we are seeking only the highest calibre candidates;
Skills and Experience
• Education to degree level
• Excellent presentation skills are essential as is the need for a flexible and adaptable personality to meet the needs of a changing market and the business
• A minimum of 5 years relevant sector experience, with demonstrable expertise in communications, marketing, PR and brand development with a strong understanding of internal communications.
• This role requires a strong communication professional who enjoys taking complex ideas and turning them into effective and engaging content whilst not necessarily being the creative person
• Familiarity with design management in all media and previous experience of working brands and visual identity will be highly valuable to the business
• A second European language would be beneficial
