Communications Executive Job in City Of London, London UK

My client a public sector organisation is looking for a communications executive to work on a three month role initially based in London to start asap

Key responsibilities include:
• Marketing Campaigns: support marketing service campaigns and projects plan as designated by Acting Head of Marketing Communications.
• Updating information on the intranet / website, liaising with external stakeholders if necessary to ensure that relevant updates are passed on in an accurate and timely manner.
• Monitor and report on the display of scheduled marketing and communications materials within owned media space on the railway.
• Arrange suppliers, colleagues and supporting documentation for photo shoots, filming, PR and awards entries.
• Undertake other duties as required as part of the Marketing Communications department.

Skill set required:

• Experience of handling agencies and third party suppliers.
• Must have excellent organisational skills and have the ability to work on own initiative.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally.
• Good IT skills, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience of updating and maintaining digital channels.
• A detailed understanding of at least one discipline: marketing, press liaison, public relations or internal communications.
• Ability to write clear, concise copy for publicity produced in house.
• Experience of producing campaigns and communications literature would be an advantage.
