Communications Manager – DC Pensions & Benefits recruitment
Join the growing Defined Contribution pensions and retirement savings business, within this well known financial services firm. Working in the specialist marketing and communications division you would join a small team and be responsible for the communication of the DC products both to new and existing clients. This role will be both office based and involve work at client sites, and will suit an individual who is comfortable presenting to groups of individuals.
Main responsibilities:
- Providing a consultative service to DC clients to formulate marketing and communication strategies
- Creating campaigns to promote the membership and contributions to DC pension plans and project managing these.
- Communication to clients' employees using on site marketing and presentations to develop new business.
- Running a small team including managing the work load while always implementing a forward thinking plan to maximise revenue
- Working with project teams to develop new marketing materials focusing on employee directed projects.
Key skills, qualifications and experience:
- Specific knowledge ofUKretirement products and services including employee ISAs and DC pensions
- Experience in a consultative communications role with a life pensions firm or consultancy dealing with DC pensions as well as having experience marketing them using a variety of media.
- Commercial understanding of how and what makes campaigns successful and how to use marketing and communications strategies to meet commercial objectives.
- Ability to manage projects and teams meeting targets from day to day, using internal and external resources as necessary.
- A proven ability to present externally and internally to all levels.
- The FPC or IMC (or equivalent) qualifications would be highly desirable.
