The Communications Manager will lead the development and implementation of communication strategies and programs to support the agreed strategic priorities of Hong Kong, including staff engaging internal communications and CR activity, proactive PR/Media Relations and effective reputational risk management. The role holder will also play an important part in providing communications insights and support to key stakeholders, including ANZ Hong Kong's CEO, Economists, Head of Retail, Head of Institutional and Head of Commercial banking to ensure effective delivery of business objectives.

Managing communication projects with Divisional and Group-wide significance, effectively managing media relations issues and crisis to protect and enhance ANZ's reputation in Hong Kong and creating, executing and managing internal communications strategies and tools (newsletters, intranet, town hall meetings will be expected of you.

As part of external communications, you will create, execute and manage Hong Kong's external communications strategy, in line with ANZ's super regional strategy and Hong Kong's key priorities. You will also act as ANZ Hong Kong spokesperson to the media as required and work on Corporate social responsibility.

Qualifications:

· Fluent English-Cantonese, Mandarin a plus
· Excellent communications skills, both written and oral
· Written communications (English and Chinese)
· Skills and experience in coaching and influencing senior stakeholder
· Build relationships in a collaborative manner, coaches and supports others
· Ability to produce, consult and follow through on significant communications plans and strategies
· Commercial thinker, able to demonstrate in-depth customer insight and act on opportunities
· Makes sound and timely decisions and demonstrates reliability and calmness in high-pressure situations
· Experience working in a multinational environment with multiple stakeholders
· A team player with entrepreneurial instincts who can work with local, regional and global colleagues to spot trends and turn them into communications opportunities
