Communications Manager recruitment
My client is a leading global investment manager. A position has opened up within their marketing and communications group due to expansion. This role will be to lead the communications team on a European basis to ensure the high quality of presentation materials consistent with the firms brand and messaging. The position sits in Munich in Germany.
The overall purpose of the role will be to manage, on a day to day basis the EMEA communications team. This however, will be very much, a hands on management role. Along with the team, you will be responsible for creating and overseeing client engaging presentation material, create customised client and business development materials whilst ensuring that all documentation is in accordance with FSA regulations. All rollouts of material must be in line with the overall strategic initiative of the wider marketing plan. All publications must be researched to the highest extent and be in line with the firm's views and strategies. Along with management of the team as stated above, the position will involve project management as well as working closely with the events team.
The successful application will come from a similar role, ideally from an Investment Management background to allow for experience and understanding of industry products. As the role will be based in Munich, any person applying for this role will have to either be a native German speaker or be able to speak German to an extremely high business level. All individuals must also be in a position to move out to Munich.
You will have to be a creative, self-starting and entrepreneurial individual who has experience in managing a team and be able to work as either an individual or as a wider and sometimes European team. Familiarity with using data systems such as Bloomberg or Barclays Live, strong IT skills in both Excel and PowerPoint will be essential.
