Applications are now sought from appropriately experienced professionals for a key role within our Maritime business based in Williamstown, Victoria. In support of the upcoming Landing Helicopter Dock (LHD) project, we have an opportunity for a communication systems specialist to perform as the technical subject matter expert to ensure subcontractors adhere to the high quality standards expected by our customers.

Key duties will include but will not be limited to:

• Providing input into the planning process of systems installations.
• Assisting sub-contractors to integrate communication systems and data networks.
• Fault finding using testing equipment, followed by developing solutions.
• Providing recommendation on potential improvements.
• Updating subcontractors set to work instructions.
• Reviewing and reporting on the quality of installations.

As the ideal applicant, you will have:

• Experience with external radio and data network systems.
• Relevant trade qualifications.
• Strong appreciation of occupational health and safety obligations.

Whilst not essential, a current construction induction card and/or knowledge of the Royal Australian Navy's communication systems will be highly regarded.
