Indigenous Community Volunteers (ICV) is a registered not for profi t organisation that promotes the wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. We are ‘closing the gap’ on Indigenous disadvantage through community development and capacity building projects.
We currently have an exciting and challenging opportunity for an enthusiastic Community Development Offi cer to join our team in Darwin. The total remuneration package for this position is approximately $60,000.
Applicants should have a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with Indigenous and non-Indigenous people, be fl exible and have excellent organisational skills. Experience engaging with Indigenous communities on development projects is an advantage.
The ability to work independently and as part of team is important. This position will require regular travel to communities in the Northern Territory.
