Qualifications:
Three to five years of experience in Property Management or other relevant work experience. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Job Description:
- Maintain high occupancy level through effective motivation, keeping informed of market conditions, understanding competitive pricing, and utilizing appropriate marketing resources.
- Support the marketing functions by recording accurate data on prospects and new residents, and by keeping informed of the competition.
- Utilize company resources to facilitate leasing.
- Establish and achieve financial goals by effectively qualifying prospective residents and verifying applications.
- Prepare lease documents and related paperwork.
- Update records as necessary.
- Develop a motivated community team through effective personnel management by example and by setting and communicating clear standards, guiding the staff to fulfill its potential.
- Coordinate maintenance of the property with appropriate support to keep project quality at IAC standards.
- Thorough inspections and follow-through, strive to maintain and improve value in the community's features within the scope of its inherent design.
- Assist the Regional Manager, as needed in long-range planning, communications, and other tasks, keeping informed of IAC philosophies and general environmental conditions to provide input and propose solutions.
- Promote positive, proactive resident relations by demonstrating a “firm, fair, and consistent” manner in all resident contacts, keeping in mind the political and social impact of their decisions.
- Work to make the living experience, particularly the first and last impressions, of the highest quality.
- Introduce the resident to our apartment procedures.
- Be responsible for after-hours and emergency on-call coverage.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with 500 or more units.
- General office and bookkeeping skills.
- Sales and customer service skills.
- Computer literacy.
- Ability to interact effectively with prospects, residents, peers and management.
- Superior customer service skills.
- Ability to work weekends.
