Community mental Health Nurse

Community Mental Health Nurse, Chilwell, Nottinghamshire

Hays is working with the Ministry of Defence (MoD) to recruit an experienced Community Mental Health Nurse Band 6 to work at their military base DCMH in Chilwell, Nottighamshire.

Dates required: Asap – up to the 16.05.2014
Pay Rate: from £22/hour
Full-time or Part-time

This position is available on a full-time basis (Monday to Friday) asap until the 28.03.2014 and then part-time from the 29.03.2014 until the 16.05.2014 (Monday and Friday only).
We will also consider two Nurses to work part time, one to work on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday until the 28.03.2014, and one to work on Monday and Friday until the 16.05.2014

The position involves:
Providing an outpatient community mental health service within their area of responsibility (AOR),
Ensuring that the quality and delivery of community mental health care is in accord with departmental protocols and NICE guidelines,
Organising educational, therapeutic, training and mental health promotion governance.
Participating in all aspects of clinical regime, taking new referrals, medical reports, maintaining client files.

Essential:
Solid previous experience at Band 6
SLiAP (Formally known as Preparation for Mentorship) ENB 998
Must hold full NMC membership and be eligible to work in the UK
Secondary Clinical Qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)/ Trauma Focused CBT.
Clean UK Driving Licence
Disclosure Scotland
Evidence of full immunisation history (Hep B, Measles, Rubella, TB, Varicella)
Computer Skills

Desirable:
BSc Nursing
Eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (level 1).
MoD Experience would be an advantage.
