Community Staff Nurse Band 5
Hays are currently recruiting for Community Staff Nurses to provide safe, effective and responsive health care for users in a domiciliary or residential setting based in Cambridge.
We are looking for Community Staff Nurses who are flexible and adaptable in order to respond to other duties that may be required from time to time.
Successful candidates will have at least six months experience in an acute or primary care setting. Newly qualified staff maybe considered if they have community experience. In addition to the above you will need to have updated immunity against Hep B, Measles, Rubella, TB and Varicella
As a Community staff Nurse you will:
.
• Administer medications, offering comfort and support, and maintaining the appropriate paperwork
• Administer immunisations and vaccinations to adults in accordance with agreed protocols
• Ensure the medications are stored and recorded according to the rules relating to the Drugs Policy
• Understand the principles of confidentiality
