COMMUNITY SUPPORT WORKERS
Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Support Programs
Permanent, Full Time/Part Time negotiable across metropolitan Adelaide
Are you passionate, committed and recovery focused? Do you believe in making a difference in the lives of people living with a mental illness?
Life Without Barriers are looking for people to deliver flexible psychosocial rehabilitation and support services to adults who are consumers of mental health services to enhance both life skills and citizenship. The services are delivered in partnership with the public mental health system and within the framework of recovery.
Support services comprise home based outreach and connection of consumers with their local community. The key program focus is the enhancement of life skills. Services are across 7 days including overnight as required. As there are multiple positions flexibility in work days and hours can be negotiated.
The successful applicants will require:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in the human services field and significant work experience in the field
- Minimum Certificate IV in Community Services, Mental Health non clinical or a commitment to obtain
- Current SA Drivers Licence
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate
- To undertake suitability checks
