Company Compliance Officer recruitment
The successful candidate will be working very closely with the Chief Operating Officer in designating compliance policies for the exchange as well as doing all the necessary checks to ensure that the company is compliant with regulations.
Within this role your responsibilities will include:
- Keeping abreast of regulatory developments
- Provide advice and assistance to the management and staff on complying with regulatory requirements
- Responsible for the Compliance Function for the company
- Setting and maintaining a sensible and practical compliance infrastructure for the company
- Manage compliance risks identified in each aspect of the company
- Performing compliance reviews and checks on the various operational processes within the company
- Developing and performing the roll out of any compliance learning initiatives within the company
- Liaising with the relevant regulatory authorities and auditors
Successful candidates for the role must demonstrate:
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of working experience in a Compliance related role
- Preferably with some exchange related compliance experience but not critical
- Preferably legally or accountancy trained but not critical
- High level of motivation with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high quality work under pressure
- Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with peers, management and clients
- Resourceful and able to identify potential issues and be able to work towards solutions
- Willingness to work flexible hours and shifts
- Ability to think out of the box and approach tasks with a holistic approach
- Knowledge in local regulatory requirements is a MUST
