Company Secretary – Luxembourg recruitment

Leading global investment manager seeks an experienced company secretary with significant experience of dealing with investment funds to work within their Luxembourg based Company Secretariat.

The role carries specific responsibility for providing company Secretariat and Legal support with regard to the firm’s Luxembourg domiciled funds and companies operating within Luxembourg corporate laws and regulation.   It will involve regular liaison with the firm’s other global offices across a variety of business areas and as such strong communication skills are essential. Fluency in French and/or German will be an advantage and superior verbal and written English communication skills are pre-requisite

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the firm’s managed funds and companies comply with relevant Luxembourg  laws and regulations, ensuing legal and governance timetables are followed, carrying out regulatory and legal filings and ensuring the ongoing maintenance and improvement of the corporate governance framework.

Applicants will demonstrate a good knowledge of local laws and regulations, complemented by the proven ability to work effectively in a pressurised, deadline driven environment and strong knowledge of investment funds
