Express is a specialty apparel and accessories retailer of women's and men's merchandise, targeting the 20 to 30 year old customer.  The Company has over 30 years of experience offering a distinct combination of fashion and quality for multiple lifestyle occasions at an attractive value addressing fashion needs across work, casual, jeanswear, and going-out occasions.  The Company currently operates over 600 retail stores, located primarily in high-traffic shopping malls, lifestyle centers, and street locations across the United States, in Canada and in Puerto Rico, and also distributes its products through the Company's e-commerce website, www.express.com.

The Compensation Analyst supports compensation programs for our field associates around the world and home office associates in store operations, loss prevention, and international. Ensures compensation programs are competitive by participating in compensation surveys, collecting, analyzing and maintaining results of research in the database. Perform benchmarking to consult and partner with HR and Business Managers on issues around global job evaluation, pay, internal equity and organizational changes to maximize retention. Ensures compliance with country and local regulations and provides support for variable compensation and other global reward programs.

Essential Requirements:

*Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Finance or Business Administration.

*1 to 4 years Compensation experience in job analysis, internal equity and partnering with HR to achieve goals. International compensation experience a plus.

*CCP - Certified Compensation Professional certification a plus.

*Advanced Excel and database management skills.

*Working knowledge of Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

*Extensive experience participating in Salary Surveys, Market Pricing, and Job Analysis.

*Expertise with various compensation methods and structures.

*Strong background supporting the annual merit planning and incentive award cycle.

*Proven track record identifying and implementing process improvements.

Strong Project Management skills

Keen attention to detail

Strong math, statistical, and problem solving skills

Strong written, verbal and interpersonal relationship and communication skills

Ability to multi-task and deliver results in a fast-paced changing retail environment

Human Resources Information Management systems experience. PeopleSoft experience preferred
