Compensation Analyst
Shift: Part-time and flexibility is a requirement Duration: Contract, possible chance it could turn into a contract to hire position for the right candidate Compensation: Key Areas of Responsibility ? Assist with development, implementation and management of strategic compensation programs and solutions that align with organizational goals/objectives while ensuring cost effectiveness. ? Lead/Support quarterly and annual compensation programs including merit and incentive pay ? Build financial models to analyze and assess compensation data related to all broad-based compensation programs ? Conduct market pricing by job matching with Business Partner team and provide compensation range ? Review requests for new or revised roles to determine appropriate salary grade assignment. ? Evaluate positions to determine FLSA exemption status ? Responsible for participation in annual compensation surveys to collect and analyze market data to determine company's competitive position. ? Develop communications and trainings for new and existing pay programs ? Create and administer compensation dashboards ? Provides consultative technical expertise, guidance and makes recommendations to line managers and CWS Business Partner team on compensation issues. Responsibilities ? Adhere to and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, internal requirements and HR policies. ? Provide feedback for systems and process improvements, including increased automation of selected compensation functions. ? Create documentation library for all Broad-based programs ? Partner with Benefits, Legal and Payroll on prevailing wage situations ? Partners amongst various stakeholders (i.e. CWS Business Partner team, Talent Acquisition, HRIS, Finance, etc.) for compensation processes that have linkages to salary planning, budgeting, system administration, and compensation offerings Minimum Qualifications ? Bachelor?s degree ? 2-4 years experience in Compensation Other Required Qualifications ? Demonstrated mathematical skills and the ability to analyze complex data, interpret, develop recommendations and solutions ? Advanced Excel skills with the ability to write complex formulas, work with Pivot tables, charts and graphs ? Excellent verbal and written communication skills ? Must possess strong attention to detail with excellent organization skills ? Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential information ? Knowledge of federal and state laws ? Ability to work independently and meet deadlines ? Must be able to multi-task and follow-up when responses are needed Preferred Qualifications ? Experience with salary structure, salary planning, incentive programs and market pricing highly desired. ? Certified compensation professional (CCP) and membership in the American Compensation Association
