Compensation Business Operations Analyst - Lynnwood, WA

West Division Summary: Responsible for ensuring that sales compensation plans have the appropriate required field inputs for each performance period to calculate commissions through performing quality assurance steps. This resource will act as primary liaison between business operations, data owners, end users and the iCoMP team. This role will audit the performance period payments for accuracy and give their approval through the automated process flow. Resource will also be responsible for researching and resolving disputes logged by the field. Additional duties may include analysis of compensation expense, headcount reporting and other related Business Operations duties as applicable. Tasks: - Identifies issues, analyzes available data and information, and recommends changes to management. - Creates and maintains multiple operational reporting tools. - Provides analytical support of actual results against budget and feasibility of proposed business strategies. - Consolidates data reports and delivers to help drive data-based strategic decision making. - Provides analysis prior to and following any recommended changes. - Creates and maintains compliance reports that identify discrepancies within the Company's billing systems. - Ensures accuracy of data through partnerships with team members. Provides day-to-day validation and spot checks. - May prepare reports to be used by other departments to correct billing issues. - Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary. - Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Additional Responsibilities -Gain and maintain a thorough understanding of compensation plans, the iComp system, source data and related business contacts. - Collect, organize and input required components in the iComp system to calculate variable compensation. Examples are headcount, sales quota and time off. - Provide timely research for compensation disputes entered into the iComp system by Managers or CAEs. - Review and approve payroll files each month. - Provide testing and analysis as needed for iComp system changes and enhancements. Requirements Requirements: - Bachelors Degree or Equivalent - - - Generally requires 2-5 years related experience Preferred Qualifications - Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, PowerPoint and database management experiences a plus. - Knowledge of compensation programs and rules a plus. - Strong organizational and decision-making skills. - Must be able to work with limited direction, be self-motivated, and have a creative approach to problem solving. Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. - Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to work well in a team environment at all levels of the function.
