Compensation Reporting Analyst recruitment

We are actively seeking a dynamic and highly analytical individual to join our Compensation team as a Reporting Analyst. This team is primarily responsible for calculating and analyzing compensation data for 1500+ employees under various compensation agreements. In taking this role, you will have the opportunity to work with complex and highly sensitive data, primarily surrounding the areas of compensation, accounting and operations, to create and maintain reporting that will directly impact how compensation is evaluated and managed across the firm. You will partner with the business groups and managers whom you are supporting to quickly assess reporting requirements and evaluate the most optimal way to leverage and present data from multiple data sources. This will also include actively seeking opportunities to automate reporting where applicable and creatively thinking through complex requests to develop scalable solutions to meet the needs of the business as a whole.
Produce complex reports and analysis, including PnL and accrual calculations, for Compensation and Financial purposes

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year end bonus calculations based on individual employee compensation agreements

Run monthly bonus estimates for the firm using data captured within HR Management Systems, such as UltiPro, as well as other databases and sources

Recommend and participate in projects that automate, streamline or enhance overall compensation reporting processes

Design, enhance and maintain spreadsheets to track and manage compensation related initiatives such as job description and job title creation as well as compensation process administration

Work with external consultants on the enhancements, maintenance, and testing of our internal compensation system

Collaborate with the end-users and business partners to gather and analyze information to meet the team’s data analysis and reporting needs

Participate in the administration of compensation adjustments and bonus payments in support of year-end processes

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Math, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline, required

Minimum of three years of Finance, Accounting, or analytic reporting experience required

Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage large amounts of complex information required

Expert proficiency in utilizing the advanced features of MS Excel is required; familiarity with VBA and SQL a plus

Must be extremely diligent and meticulous with a high attention to detail

Highest degree of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive employee and company information required

Ability to quickly learn new technology and tools and apply them to solving problems and creating new reports required

Ability to work under minimal supervision and to prioritize and multi-task with a high degree of accuracy required

Must be solutions and client-service oriented, with an emphasis on pro-activity, collaboration and creativity

Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as presentation skills required

Experience utilizing HRMS Systems (such as UltiPro, PeopleSoft, or Oracle) in the preparation of simple and complex reports a plus

Knowledge of business intelligence or reporting tools such as Crystal Reports, Cognos, or QlikView a plus
