COMPLETIONS SPECIALIST
Design Group is seeking a Completions Specialist on behalf of a Calgary based junior oil and gas producer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role will primarily be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
· Preparation of AFEs for planned work and obtain appropriate approvals.
· Programing, scheduling and monitor all completion and work over activity for the company.
· Evaluate and recommend and implement advanced technological developments.
· Travel to well sites as required
· Communicate Completions strategies and collaborate effectively with engineering and geology groups.
· Maintain accurate reporting and strong field relations.
· Coordinate drilling and service rigs.
· Ensuring regulatory compliance of assets in British Columbia and Alberta
· Work closely with production engineers and geologists.
· Ensure all JV commitments are made.
· Oversee and administer completions budget and invoices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Well rounded exposure to oil and gas field operations.
· Significant field experience, ideally in Alberta.
· Proven self-starter who works well under minimal supervision.
· 7 - 15 years related oil and gas experience including 3+ years with a producer.
· In depth knowledge HZ well completions, stimulations and workovers.
· Engineering Technologist or a degree in Engineering.
· Drilling experience would be an asset.
· Proficiency with Excel, Word and Accumap.
