COMPLIANCE ADVISORY MANAGER / CORPORATE BANKING
Our client, a Global Financial Institution is looking for a compliance advisory manager to provide support and guidance to their corporate banking business. The individual would help support the compliance function in identifying and mitigating risks across the corporate banking business and help promote a proactive compliance culture within the firm.
Duties Include:
·Manage staff providing advice to corporate banking business or to change programmes.
·Promote effective compliance and oversight with legislation in relation to their corporate banking business.
·Support the business in achieving its strategic goals through delivering consistent and clear advice to the various business and functional initiatives.
·Provide technical advice on either business or change programme activities across the corporate banking division.
·Provide interpretation of relevant rules, regulations, policies and procedures to the senior management.
·Lead and motivate a diverse team of Compliance technical advice subject matter experts, ensuring provision of appropriate specialist expertise, support and challenge to all the corporate banking businesses and central functions.
·Demonstrate strong technical understanding of the corporate banking business and current regulatory issues.
·Provides timely and accurate guidance, advice and challenge in relation to compliance matters across the corporate banking businesses.
·Assist in achieving the business goals within a strong compliance culture.
·Provide sound, accurate and commercial regulatory advice on new initiatives and projects.
·Provide input into other areas of the regulatory risk function.
The preferred candidate will ideally have a corporate banking, retail banking or regulator background and demonstrate a strong understanding of regulatory environment. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to interact at all levels of business effectively.
