This is a superb role working for a global bank based in London. The bank is currently growing and due to the expansion of its compliance department is recruiting this role.
The role is within the corporate finance / private side of the bank and is a compliance advisory position. This position is dealing with senior level stakeholders on a regular basis across various different business units.
Ideally the successful candidate will be coming from a legal background and be at least several years post qualified with in depth knowledge of debt capital markets and corporate finance from the private side. It is essential you have in depth knowledge of at least one of the following, DCM, securitisation or loan markets. Whilst it is preferable you are coming from a compliance advisory background, it isn't essential to have any compliance knowledge at all, this client is simply looking for a qualified lawyer with the right product knowledge who can be taught.
This role will expose the successful candidate to new product areas and be an interesting and varied position. This is a superb opportunity for someone looking to move away from the legal side of things or into compliance.
