Compliance Analyst
A reputable and well regarded US fund manager with over $600 billion AUM and with a large global presence is seeking a compliance analyst to join the hub of their European operation in London. The role has come about due to an internal promotion.
The company has a headcount of over 2500 and is respected throughout asset management and has demonstrated high levels of success. Focusing largely on fit within their culture, the company places a large emphasis on generalist compliance experience though this role with have an aspect of distribution compliance due to the companies global structure.
The role is generalist in nature offering core compliance coverage. However key responsibilities will be as follows:
• Accurately complete daily and periodic monitoring reviews.
• Assist with the analysis and review of management information to address compliance and corporate governance needs
• Assist with the recording and follow-up of breaches, errors and client complaints within the business
• Assist with the analysis and implementation of regulatory changes.
• Assist with projects and special reviews as required of business issues and changes arising from business developments.
• Assist with regulatory reports to regulators, market and clients as required, including coverage of the daily reports regarding transactions and major shareholdings when required.
• Liaise with other Compliance staff in London, USA and Asia in course of Compliance work as required
• As part of the European Compliance team assist with other matters as and when required.
The ideal candidate must have 1-3 years experience within buy side compliance, be an excellent team player and be motivated to take deliver high quality work. Candidates without experience will not be considered for this position.
