The Controls and Testing Compliance Analyst, Assistant Vice President will be responsible for the identification, evaluation, and testing of controls that support various regulatory requirements in addition to internal Firm requirements.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Implement and manage CT schedules and other items to deliver the plan on time (test controls and document tests results etc.)
- Devise and report management information in relation to CT work undertaken on a weekly/monthly basis
- Develop working relationships with global Business-aligned Compliance teams and Global CT team
- Communicate workload and escalate potential roadblocks to supervisor
- Assist in the quarterly Regulatory Risk Assessment process, specifically providing feedback on the design and effectiveness of controls
- Assist with special projects, as requested
- A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Proven solid work experience with internal controls, compliance (local laws and regulations) and understanding of COSO framework
- Need to work independently with minimal supervisions
- Strong analytical, written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Detail and deadline oriented
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Knowledge of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, the Investment Company Act of 1940 and Regulation S-P
- Excellent business writing skills, verbal communication skills and analytical skills
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Ability to travel
- A strong work ethic
