Compliance Analyst (Documentation) – European Investment Bank, The City, London recruitment

You will be involved in the monitoring and development of the Bank's portfolio legal agreements across public and private sectors, loans, equity investment agreements and other facility agreements for specific portfolios.

This is a strategic hire and they are developing their team due to increased internal growth and the success of the banking operations. You will have an in-depth understanding of the compliance process and be responsible for a specific part of the Bank’s portfolio (with the distinct option of becoming a specialist in your field).

You will have an in-depth understanding of complex variations within the process including waivers and amendments and ideally a good understanding of the legal processes associated.  You will be involved in the continuous development of the team by constantly trying to refine existing procedures.  You will need to be fully familiar with review draft loan/investment legal documents and communicate the comments to various other departments and business team leaders.

There is an option to focus on syndicated loans business so if you have a solid understanding of the syndicated loan process (within an A/B Loan structure) it would be highly desirable but not a prerequisite to apply.  To be considered you will have a business, finance or legal orientated education with solid experience within a blue-chip or financial environment and looking for a long term career.  This group is keen on speaking to people with languages especially Arabic, French, Russian to a business level but for thsi role - definitely not a pre-requisite.
