Compliance Analyst recruitment
DFA's Sydney Compliance team requires the support of an experienced compliance professional for a 6 month maternity leave cover. Your primary focus will be to support the ongoing development, implementation and maintenance of DFA's compliance framework.
The role will comprise a number of daily deliverables and projects. You will report to the Head of Compliance, your duties will include but are not limited to the following:
- Identification and analysis of all compliance obligations (existing and new)
- Monitoring regulatory and industry developments
- Ongoing development, implementation and maintenance of Dimensional’s operational compliance program
- Ongoing development, implementation and maintenance of the compliance monitoring program
- Preparation of compliance reports to management, the Risk Fiduciary Committee and the Board
- Liaising with compliance auditors in relation to their annual audits of the Compliance Plan
- Provision of advice and training on compliance issues to the firm and its staff
- Ad hoc duties/projects as requested
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years compliance experience ideally within the funds management space. Alternatively, you may have gained your experience in a Big 4 Accounting firm or general financial services group(s).
You will exhibit excellent communication skills, strong technical skills and proven relationship management skills. You will have a passion for learning new concepts and be able to pick up new ideas and frameworks quickly. You will hold at least a Bachelor degree in ideally finance/accounting or similar. You will ideally be able to start immediately.
