The Role:
- Maintain and schedule the compliance monitoring programs for CMBS, B-Notes and Partnerships, assuring that all functions are properly assigned and managed within the department.
- Coordinate and oversee the loan/asset level reviews/Compliance Summary Reports review, approval, audit processes.
- Ensure Compliance with PSA, Co-Lender/Intercreditor/Participation Agreement requirements and the Servicing Standard through the Monthly Loan Compliance Review process and Compliance Summary Report and post-audit review processes.
- Review workpapers for completeness, accuracy and ensure the work performed meets the overall objectives of the review.
- Review PSA abstracts on for accuracy.
- Alert appropriate persons of deals with specific requirements on an as-needed basis.
- Coordinate the maintenance of the Policies and Procedures for all departments.
- Prepare and deliver annual notices/certifications required by PSAs and other agreements.
- Perform the pre-closing review of Pooling and Servicing Agreements and related prospectus to ensure upcoming deals have provisions consistent with our servicing process and systems.
- Complete special projects and additional functions as necessary.
You will possess the following:
- Public/private experience desirable.
- Prior experience in audit, investments, real estate operations or commercial real estate lending, a plus.
- Strong analytical, organization and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Access.
- Bachelor’s degree – Accounting or Finance.
- Certifications: CPA or MBA is preferable but not required.
