Compliance Analyst (Wealth Management) recruitment

The Company
Client is a global European bank.

The Role
The overall function is to work closely with the Wealth Management compliance team in compliance related duties relating to KYC, AML, CFT, STR.

The compliance analyst will be reviewing client profiles at onboarding and periodic reviews to ensure conformity to minimum AML/CFT/ CDD standards, producing client risk assessments, due diligence analysis and awarding a risk rating where appropriate.
You will be providing advisory support to the business and also assisting with the preparation, presentation of new and existing client relationship to a local control committee with the objective of obtaining business and compliance management approval before conducting business with a customer.
You are required to conduct investigations and filing suspicious transaction reports (STRs) as appropriate. There will be opportunities to participate in a range of developmental projects, mainly focusing on procedures development, process improvement initiatives enhancing existing controls.

Your Profile
The successful compliance analyst will have at least 2 to 3 years first hand experience in Wealth Management KYC. You will be a degree holder or with professional qualification in accountancy, business, banking finance or law.
You will be familiar with relevant local regulations AML/CFT global industry adopted guiding principles including but not limited to MAS 626, FATF, OFAC, Banking Act and so forth. And have first hand experience in reviewing client profiles engaging in face to face meetings with the business
Experience in SFA and FAA, CACS with ICT Compliance diploma or being ACAMs certified is preferred.. You will have strong communication (verbal written) interpersonal skills to multi-task effectively and manage internal external clients.
