Purpose of the Role
The Compliance Assistant will assist in the delivery of the Compliance Programme, including the completion of site reviews at various travel agent/Corporate locations throughout the UK. The role also includes assisting in the completion of compliance reviews both within Trainline and at external partners.
The Team
The Finance team in London consists of 20+ qualified and part qualified accountants reporting into the Group Finance Director. Various responsibilities include Financial and Management Accounting Reporting, Planning and Compliance Risk Management.
Key Responsibilities
• Completion of remote site visit programme
• International Licence monitoring arrangements
• Third Party online portal compliance
• Period end compliance reporting
• Ad hoc compliance queries
Knowledge Experience
• Suitable candidates must hold a minimum 2.1 degree (or equivalent)
Behavioural Skills
• Strong interpersonal skills necessary to build key relationships with other departments
• Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines
• Good communication skills, both written and oral
• Enjoy working with people at all different levels of an organisation
