Compliance Associate – Insurance – Singapore recruitment
Scope of responsibilities:
1. To plan, develop and manage Compliance initiatives to determine if the business units are compliant with Co and regulatory requirements, specifically:
- To review business units compliance procedures;
- To provide advice and guidance on all new products and business initiatives;
- To work with subject experts and resource when ensuring compliance; and
- To provide consultation to business units on Compliance rules.
2. To highlight to the HOD, any regulatory breaches or business risks because of non compliance or Improper market and business conduct.
3. To maintain current policies to ensure alignment to the latest business objectives and guidelines specified by the regulators.
4. To educate the business units on Rules and Regulations pertaining to their areas of business by providing a comprehensive and current compliance matrix.
5. To maintain the systems and structure in place to support compliance Initiatives
6. Review marketing materials to ensure it is clear and not misleading
Requirements:
- Degree Holder
- At least 2 years experience in the compliance and/or training and competence field
- Experience in the corporate compliance arena will be an added advantage
