Our client is looking for a high calibre candidate to join the Asia Pacific Compliance Risk Review Department. The team conducts risk-based desk reviews and thematic reviews over the different businesses of the firm. The Compliance Risk Review team evaluates the regional businesses with the Firm's policies and procedures to meet relevant regulatory expectations.
You will plan and manage compliance reviews according to the risk review program. Leading on-site reviews will enable you to validate compliance against established policies and procedures, develop recommendations for appropriate follow-up actions, and present and report review results to Business and Compliance Management. This role requires some regional travel.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 5 years compliance experience, preferably within a global investment bank
- Regulatory and/or advisory compliance preferred
- Investment Bank product knowledge required
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Able to represent and enforce compliance while having awareness of business needs
- Able to anticipate and provide solutions to complex issues
