Compliance Business Analyst recruitment

Main Responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for engaging with key stakeholders, gathering detailed business requirements and working with delivery teams to provide high quality solutions within strict time constraints.

• Will facilitate workshops, produce functional requirements documentation and work with multiple teams to produce detailed system specifications and test plans.

• At all stages of the development will maintain communications between the business and development teams, validating requirements and ensuring the scope of the deliverables are aligned with the expectations of the business.

• The business analyst is also responsible for working with the business and technical stakeholders to define service level agreements and ensuring the production environment operates within the service level.

• Will work with end users and technical teams to address any production issues, report on the performance of the applications and own any changes required to bring applications or processes in line with end user expectations.  

• With the increasingly stringent and complex requirements of the Financial Services Authority, it is vital that the bank is able to provide a rapid and strategic response to regulatory guidance. 

• On many occasions, this response will require a systematic approach by the development of current or proposed IT solutions. 

• It is also recognised that this guidance is unlikely to be specific in how it defines the banks obligations and that a level of interpretation will be required in order to define an appropriate solution. 

• The business analyst will work with the compliance department to formulate a strategic approach to meeting regulatory requirements that is flexible enough to facilitate rapid enhancement where required.

The successful candidate

• Will have extensive experience in working with and translating the requirements of regulators in the financial services sector. 

• In addition, they will have strong knowledge of information systems that support AML, KYC, Sanctions, Compliance Training, Procedures, Monitoring and other compliance related services. 

• The candidate will be expected to evolve the banks compliance related systems in line with best practice and competitor capabilities.       

• Experienced business analyst skilled in stakeholder management with experience of compliance in a banking environment.

• The successful candidate should be comfortable dealing with both business and technical teams and have strong communication skills.

3-5 years of experience in the following:

• Excellent communication skills (oral and written)  

• Business and Technical Stakeholder management  

• Prioritizing, Negotiation, Setting and Managing expectation  

• Project Management, Planning, Tracking Reporting  

• Requirement Determination and Validation   

• General Banking knowledge and in particular AML, KYC and other regulatory mandates

• A willingness to learn new systems and keep up to date with banking solutions and regulations
