Global Compliance Regulatory Management plays a critical role in the successful execution of the firm's compliance mission. The Compliance function ensures the development and maintenance of a strong compliance culture by developing and maintaining program infrastructure that identifies measures and monitors adherence with applicable laws, regulations and rules that govern our business globally. Compliance teams work closely with business, legal, risk, and audit functions to provide expertise on regulatory compliance matters, assess and measure compliance and related risk and, monitor and test the adequacy of the firm's compliance control environment.
Global Compliance currently has an opportunity for a Compliance Director who will build and manage a project management team responsible for completion of certain compliance related, cross business projects. Projects will be focused on technology delivery to meet Compliance needs.
This candidate will work closely across a variety of management teams to assess, scope and program manage their project needs. The candidate will manage a team of seasoned professionals with direct responsibility for project execution, coordination and results. Lead the team focused on clear results, ensuring that the expectations of the business are fully met.
The candidate should demonstrate ability to develop strong and influential relationships across all levels of an organization and manage/lead teams and multiple projects in a changing and intense regulatory environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing extensive Compliance / Regulatory projects
- Developing strong and influential relationships across senior levels of an organization and managing/leading teams and multiple projects in a changing environment
- Ensuring project initiatives meet desired business results
- Recruiting and developing effective project managers and other staff, ensuring continuity and backup
- Contributing expertise to implementing projects/initiatives
- Driving business and corporate initiatives from concept to delivery, ensuring execution of business requirements, training, procedures, workflow redesigns and implementation schedules
