Compliance Governance Manager

Our client is a leading service provider of various IT consulting business services, supporting various industries including financial services, banking, retail, insurance and consultancies. Based in Milton Keynes they are looking to recruit a Compliance Governance Manager, with occasional travel to Leicester.

Your role will be to manage different Governance functions and client relationships simultaneously: Risk, Audit, Compliance Technology Risk. You will also provide full Risk Officer capability function whilst providing management oversight of the Technological Risk function.

You will be responsible for a number of activities including:

• Managing multiple Governance teams – each team of up to 10 people – at multiple locations
• Full line management of permanent employees; including performance management, training and development.
• Weekly and monthly reporting of the Compliance Governance function to the CEO and Senior Leadership team.

You will have the following experience:

- Experience of managing Compliance/Audit/Risk functions – ideally in financial services.
- Experience of managing multiple teams - up to approx 15 direct reports
- Experience of designing and implementing organisational change
- Experience of presenting compliance reports formally to clients
- Awareness of SOX
- Strong process, procedure and organisational skill.
- Analyse, diagnoses, plans, executes and evaluates work to time, cost and quality targets.
