Compliance Manager
Key Duties:
· Develops initiates, maintains, and revises compliance policies and procedures for all IT operational activities within the Compliance Program. Manages day-to-day compliance including: Violations Reporting, Violation monitoring, Appeals and Compliance Training activities.
· Develops and periodically reviews and updates Standards to ensure continuing relevance in providing guidance to management and employees.
· Collaborates with other departments to direct compliance issues to appropriate existing channels for investigation and resolution. Consults with the legal and/or Human resources as needed to resolve difficult compliance issues.
· Responds to alleged violations of rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and Standards by evaluating or recommending the initiation of investigative procedures. Develops and oversees a system for uniform handling of such violations.
· Monitors violations to identify trends, and as necessary, coordinates proactive remedial activities.
· Identifies potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; develops/implements corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues, and provides general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future.
· Ensures reporting of violations or potential violations to individuals and senior management.
· Institutes and maintains an effective compliance communication program for the organisation, including promoting (a) use of the Compliance tools; (b) heightened awareness of Standards, and (c) understanding of new and existing compliance issues and related policies and procedures.
On going role - £450 per day!
