When you join Barclays as a Compliance Manager, your skills and experience will help us meet our goal of having the best compliance function in the retail banking industry. You'll be part of a rapidly expanding team that drives the compliance programme across our entire UK Retail Business. Staying focused on process improvement, you'll build effective relationships with external regulatory bodies - and create innovative new methods that build on our existing compliance culture. It's a great opportunity to work with multiple teams across our business and gain an insider's view of regulatory risk management.  
 
What you'll give our customers as a Compliance Manager
You'll review complex compliance processes and develop innovative ways to improve them. That will mean keeping up to date on all regulatory issues and staying aware of all changes to the retail bank business plan. You'll also build relationships with key stakeholders by providing solutions for a broad range of regulatory issues, while acting as a role model for other compliance staff and an ambassador for the department.

What you'll need as a Compliance Manager
The success of everyone at Barclays is measured by their ability to put our customers at the centre of their day. To do that in this role, you'll need a working knowledge of key regulatory rules as well as analytical and investigative skills. We'll need to see excellent communication and presentation skills and commercial acumen, plus the ability to effectively balance regulatory risks and business needs.
